He is an external aspect of Sherab Mawe Senge, the deity of wisdom (known as Manjushri in Sanskrit). Practicing his rituals helps in developing intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom, enhancing memory, increasing wealth and prosperity, boosting creativity and art knowledge, gaining self-confidence, and strengthening the body, soul, and mind. Regular practice enhances our mental abilities, enabling us to learn faster and better cope with the challenges of daily life. Through this practice, we also remove obstacles in our meditation and develop greater stability and clarity.

During the retreat, Geshe will provide teachings from the extensive sadhana, offer instructions on how to practice with the Cha Kengtse deity, introduce participants to the mantras of various Cha Kengtse manifestations, and guide them on how to prepare for the retreat. Participants will also receive a text for daily practice.

In the Bon tradition, each deity has four types of manifestations related to speech, body, qualities, and activities. By focusing on a specific manifestation, we can achieve related results. If our goal is to increase prosperity, we concentrate on that aspect, and so on. We can choose according to our current needs and conditions, whether it’s physical health, prosperity, creativity, or meditation clarity. One of Cha Kengtse’s manifestations, for example, is responsible for removing obstacles related to negative spirits.

There are many manifestations related to creativity, art, music, and more, each associated with a different mantra.

Cha Kengtse is an external manifestation of Mawe Senge, meaning his activity is very practical and action-oriented. There are many stories about the great practitioners who achieved remarkable results through practicing with this deity. Nyame Sherab Gyalshen also realized this practice and received many positive signs.

Monasteries like Menri in India and Triten Norbutse in Nepal, along with other Bonpo monasteries, perform this practice as an annual foundation. Before the start of each educational year, all monks from the dialectical school undergo a seven-day retreat with Mawe Senge. On the penultimate day, concluding the initiation, they practice throughout the night without interruption – this is when they specifically engage in the Cha Kengtse practice.

Geshe Gyatso will teach this important doctrine for the first time in the West.

.Weekend 21.X 22.X – 30 euros / 15 euros per day

The course will be held in English with translation into Polish.
Possibility to participate live in Bialystok or online.

.

Schedule:
Saturday
9:30 a.m – 11:00 a.m (CET) Teachings
11:00 a.m – 11:30 a.m (CET) Break
11:30 a.m – 1:00 p.m (CET) Teachings
1:00 p.m – 3:00 p.m (CET) Lunch Break
3:00 p.m – 4:30 p.m (CET) Teachings
4:30 p.m – 5:00 p.m (CET) Break
5:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m (CET) Teachings

.

Sunday
9:30 a.m – 11:00 a.m (CET) Teachings
11:00 a.m – 11:30 a.m (CET) Break
11:30 a.m – 1:00 p.m (CET) Teachings
1:00 p.m – 3:00 p.m (CET) Lunch Break
3:00 p.m – 4:30 p.m (CET) Teachings
4:30 p.m – 5:00 p.m (CET) Break
5:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m (CET) Teachings

.

Location:

Shanti Yoga Studio
42 Pułku Piechoty 41
15-147 Białystok

.

To register, please send a message to:

rejestracja@drenpa-namkha.org

with title: “Cha Kengtse registration”
along with the attached transfer confirmation (please write “Donation – Che Kengtse” in the title of the transfer) and whether the registration is for an on-site event or via Zoom.

Registration at the stated price will last until October 17th.
