Tsarka is the birthplace of His Eminence Menri Ponlop Trinley Nyima Rinpoche and many great Lamas of Yangton lineage. It is one of the highest villages in the world. This area is an amazing and magical place, still untouched by modern life. Pictures were taken in 2011 and 2012 during Rinpoche’s trips to Upper Dolpo in Nepal, many by his disciple Tomasz Radek.
